versionSavePersistentData

Module: UCD-SNMP-MIB

OID (symbolic): UCD-SNMP-MIB::versionSavePersistentData

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Set to 1 to force the agent to save it's persistent data immediately.

What is versionSavePersistentData?

This OID lets an admin force the agent to immediately write its persistent data to disk by setting it to 1, rather than waiting for its normal save interval. An admin triggers this before an expected reboot to make sure recent state changes aren't lost.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.13
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::versionSavePersistentData

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::versionSavePersistentData.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.13.1 i <value>
