versionClearCache

Module: UCD-SNMP-MIB

OID (symbolic): UCD-SNMP-MIB::versionClearCache

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Set to 1 to clear the exec cache, if enabled

What is versionClearCache?

This OID lets an admin flush the agent's exec-result cache by setting it to 1, when exec caching is enabled. An admin sets this after updating a script referenced by an extCommand or similar entry, so the next poll re-runs the script instead of returning a stale cached result.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::versionClearCache

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::versionClearCache.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.100.10.1 i <value>
