prMin

Module: UCD-SNMP-MIB

OID (symbolic): UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: The minimum number of processes that should be running. An error flag is generated if the number of running processes is < the minimum.

What is prMin?

This OID holds the minimum number of instances of the named process that should be running at any time. If the observed count in prCount drops below this value, the agent raises prErrorFlag, letting an admin get alerted when a critical daemon has stopped or crashed.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.2.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.2.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin.1
