What is logMatchCycle?

This object specifies the interval in seconds between automatic log file checks when no explicit queries are being made to the system. An operator configures this to balance responsiveness against system load; shorter intervals detect log changes faster but consume more CPU. This controls how frequently the log monitoring process rescans log files for matching events.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.16.2.1.11
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::logMatchCycle

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.16.2.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::logMatchCycle.1
