laErrorFlag

Module: UCD-SNMP-MIB

OID (symbolic): UCD-SNMP-MIB::laErrorFlag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.10.1.100

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: UCDErrorFlag

Access: read-only

Description: A Error flag to indicate the load-average has crossed its threshold value defined in the snmpd.conf file. It is set to 1 if the threshold is crossed, 0 otherwise.

What is laErrorFlag?

This OID is a 1/0 flag indicating whether this load-average row has crossed the threshold configured in laConfig. An admin polls this for a quick signal that the host is overloaded without having to compare laLoadFloat to the configured watch point manually.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.10.1.100
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::laErrorFlag

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.10.1.100.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> UCD-SNMP-MIB::laErrorFlag.1
