tnmElectionPanic

Module: TUBS-TNM-MIB

OID (symbolic): TUBS-TNM-MIB::tnmElectionPanic

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1575.1.1.4.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-only

Description: Reading this variable will start the panic algorithm on this peer. (We should use an inform request here.)

What is tnmElectionPanic?

This read-only boolean, when read, triggers the panic phase of the election algorithm on this peer, an unusual design where a GET operation itself has a side effect, which the MIB notes should ideally have used an inform request instead.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1575.1.1.4.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TUBS-TNM-MIB::tnmElectionPanic

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1575.1.1.4.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TUBS-TNM-MIB::tnmElectionPanic.1
