privateVlanType

Module: TPLINK-PRIVATE-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): TPLINK-PRIVATE-VLAN-MIB::privateVlanType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.18.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: The Port Type for the port. 1. promiscuous 2. host

What is privateVlanType?

This read-create INTEGER sets whether a private VLAN entry is community(1) or isolated(2), though the description text (labeled promiscuous/host) appears mismatched with the enum values in the source. Admins choose community to let member ports communicate with each other and the primary VLAN, or isolated to restrict member ports to communicating only with promiscuous ports. For example, setting this to isolated(2) confines a set of guest ports so they can reach the uplink but not each other.
