ndpAgingTime
Module: TPLINK-NDP-MIB
OID (symbolic): TPLINK-NDP-MIB::ndpAgingTime
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.33.1.1.1.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object indicates the period for the switch to keep the NDP packets from the neighbor switch. The minimum value is 5, maximum value is 255.
What is ndpAgingTime?
This read-write integer, from 5 to 255, sets how many seconds the switch retains NDP packet information received from a neighboring switch before aging it out. Admins tune this to control how quickly stale neighbor entries are purged versus how tolerant the topology view is to missed hello packets. For example, an admin sets this to 180 seconds so a neighbor entry persists through a couple of missed NDP hellos before being removed.
