tpLacpPortPriority

Module: TPLINK-LAG-MIB

OID (symbolic): TPLINK-LAG-MIB::tpLacpPortPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.9.1.3.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates the port priority of the port. This value determines the priority of the port to be selected as the dynamic aggregation group member. The port with smaller Port Priority will be considered as the preferred one. If the two port priorities are equal; the port with smaller port number is preferred.

What is tpLacpPortPriority?

This object sets the port priority, 0 to 65535, used to determine which ports are preferred as members of a dynamic aggregation group, with a smaller value being more preferred, and ties broken by the lower port number. Admins tune this to control which ports LACP selects first when more candidate ports exist than the aggregation group can actually use. For example, an admin with more LACP-eligible ports than a group can support would lower this value on the ports they most want included in the active aggregation.
