Description: Select enable or disable to set the status of Multicast Forwarding in the router. The default is disable.
What is tpIpMRouteEnable?
This setting turns IP multicast forwarding on or off for the router, and defaults to disabled. Admins enable it before configuring PIM so the router will actually forward multicast traffic between interfaces. Setting tpIpMRouteEnable to enabled(1) is a prerequisite step before a PIM-DM or PIM-SM multicast deployment will forward any traffic.
