Description: Select the Registration Mode for the port. 0. NORMAL:In this mode, a port can dynamically register/deregister a VLAN and propagate the dynamic/static VLAN information. 1. It only propagates VLAN 1 information.

What is tpGvrpPortRegistration?

This read-write object sets a port's GVRP registration mode: normal(0) allows dynamic VLAN register/deregister and propagates both dynamic and static VLANs, fixed(1) only propagates static VLANs without dynamic registration, and forbidden(2) blocks VLAN registration and only propagates VLAN 1. An admin chooses fixed or forbidden on ports where dynamic VLAN learning is undesired for security or stability, while leaving normal on trusted trunk ports. Setting it to forbidden(2) on an untrusted uplink prevents that port from dynamically learning or propagating any VLAN except VLAN 1.
