tpGvrpLeaveAllTimer

Module: TPLINK-GVRP-MIB

OID (symbolic): TPLINK-GVRP-MIB::tpGvrpLeaveAllTimer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.20.1.2.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Once the LeaveAll Timer is set, the port with GVRP enabled can send a LeaveAll message after the timer times out, so that other GARP ports can re-register all the attribute information. After that, the LeaveAll timer will start to begin a new cycle. The LeaveAll Timer ranges from 1000 to 30000 centiseconds and could be devided exactly by 5.

What is tpGvrpLeaveAllTimer?

This read-write object sets, in centiseconds (1000-30000, divisible by 5), the LeaveAll Timer, after which a GVRP-enabled port sends a LeaveAll message prompting other GARP ports to re-register all VLAN attribute information, then restarts the cycle. An admin tunes this to control how often the switch forces a full VLAN re-registration cycle across GVRP ports, balancing protocol overhead against how quickly stale registrations are cleared. Setting it to 10000 centiseconds (100 seconds) means the port will trigger a full re-registration cycle roughly every 100 seconds.
