Description: A cntpTrapNTPLeapIndBitsChange trap signifies that the value of the leap indicator bits contained in the NTP reply packets sent by the time server has changed. 0 is the no fault, no leap warning condition 1 is the no fault, leap second insertion warning condition 2 is the no fault, leap second deletion warning condition 3 is the unsynchronized, alarm condition

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' TEMPUSLXUNISON-MIB::cntpTrapLeapIndBitsChange
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.13827.5.0.0.1

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:62800->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (415512912) 48 days, 2:12:09.12
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: TEMPUSLXUNISON-MIB::cntpTrapLeapIndBitsChange
