What is hipVersion?
This read-only 16-byte value reports the firmware version number running on the Helios-IP device. An admin reads it to confirm which firmware release is currently active, important when checking for known issues or planning an upgrade. For example, an admin auditing firmware compliance across a fleet of intercom devices would poll this value to identify units still running an outdated version.
