What is safeModeAlarm?

This read-only object reports the safe-mode alarm status, together with its associated severity, indicating whether the equipment is currently running in safe mode. Admins watch this to detect when equipment has dropped into a degraded safe-mode operating state, which typically means normal management or service functions are restricted. A raised safeModeAlarm alerts the admin to check safeModeStatus for the specific reason the device entered safe mode, such as a lost auxiliary service.
