The source IP address of the SNMP packet setting this object is used as target Ip address, it identifies the server where the files are transferred.

What is pmFTPActionRequest?

This object is a read-write enumerated action trigger (none/dayBeforeRead/currentDayRead/readAll/readAbort/readInterval) that tells the equipment to FTP a file of PM or RMON records to the manager, using the source IP of the triggering SNMP packet as the FTP target address; the value self-clears back to none after use. Administrators set it to kick off a specific export, such as the previous day's data or a custom time range, without needing a separate FTP client session. For example, setting it to currentDayRead(3) after configuring pmFTPTpClass causes the equipment to FTP a file of today's PM records to the manager's own IP address.
