featureKeysRadioMap

Module: SIAE-FEATUREKEYS-MIB

OID (symbolic): SIAE-FEATUREKEYS-MIB::featureKeysRadioMap

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3373.1103.101.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: This object is the map of the radio feature keys (16 bits). The Get operation returns a map of 2 bytes. The value of the Set operation must be composed by the map of the 2 bytes and a 16 bytes signature from MD5 (the first 8 bytes as primary and the last 8 bytes as secondary).

What is featureKeysRadioMap?

This object holds the 2-byte bitmap that enables or disables individual licensed radio features on the device. Reading it returns just the 2-byte feature map, but writing it requires appending a 16-byte MD5 signature (8 bytes primary, 8 bytes secondary) so the device can validate the license before applying it. For example, an admin would set this object to a vendor-supplied signed byte string to unlock a higher radio modulation feature after purchasing the corresponding license.
