What is rcIpRipInterfaceProxyAnnounceFlag?
This read-write flag enables proxy announcement, allowing the interface to advertise networks it learns via other protocols or static routes. Engineers enable this to redistribute routes from OSPF or BGP into RIP for branch offices still using RIP. Example: a core router learning BGP routes and announcing them via RIP to older remote sites.
