Description: The unique Bridge Identifier of the Bridge recorded as the Root in the Configuration BPDUs transmitted by the Designated Bridge for the segment to which the port is attached.

What is rcStgPortDesignatedRoot?

The Bridge Identifier of the root bridge as recorded in Configuration BPDUs sent by the Designated Bridge for this port's segment. Admins compare this to rcStgDesignatedRoot to verify a port's local segment agrees with the bridge's overall view of who the root is.
