Description: This variable controls the 'disable-port' action that system will take when a MAC address violation event was detected. The value 'enable' means the specific port will be disabled when the violation event was detected. It needs user manually to bring the port back once it was disabled. The default value is disable.

What is rcBridgeUnknownMacDiscardDisablePort?

Controls whether the port is automatically administratively disabled (requiring manual re-enable) when an unknown-MAC-discard violation is detected; defaults to disable (i.e. the port stays up). Admins enable this on security-sensitive ports where an unauthorized device appearing should shut the port down until an operator investigates.
