Description: This variable is used to control the auot-learn mode to either one-shot or continuous. In one-shot mode, the first n MAC addresses will be learned. The number n is dependents on the system's available resource. In continuous mode, MAC address is continuous learned until the resource limit is reached. After that the subsequent MAC will be disallowed until one of the original learned MAC is aged out. The default value is one-shot mode.

What is rcBridgeUnknownMacDiscardAutoLearnMode?

Selects whether the auto-learn feature for unknown MAC addresses on this port runs in one-shot mode (learns a fixed first batch of MACs, resource-dependent) or continuous mode (keeps learning until resources are exhausted, then blocks new MACs until one ages out); defaults to one-shot. Admins choose continuous mode on ports expecting a rotating set of devices, and one-shot on ports where the device population should be fixed after initial learning.
