Description: Enable or disable the sending of ARP responses on the specified interface.
What is rcArpExtEntDoResp?
This read-write object enables or disables the interface's normal sending of ARP responses, defaulting to enabled. Admins would disable it only in unusual scenarios, such as a monitoring-only or passive interface, where the device should not answer ARP requests for its own address at all. Setting rcArpExtEntDoResp to disable(1) on an interface would make the device stop responding to ARP requests for its own IP on that interface, effectively hiding it from Layer 2 ARP discovery.
