Description: Peak cell rate in cells per second. The maximum peak cell rate is half of the line rate. The peak cell rate for MDA type OC12 must be less than 733491. However, for OC3, it is less than 182783.
What is rc2kAtmPvcPeakCellRate?
This sets the PVC's peak cell rate in cells per second, allowed from 86 to 733490, defaulting to 23584. The maximum allowed value is capped at half the port's line rate, so an OC12 port allows up to just under 733491 cells/sec while an OC3 port is capped under 182783; an admin raises this to allow the circuit to burst higher during peaks.
