Description: The 32-bit unsigned sum of the LS checksums of the external link-state advertisements contained in the link-state database. This sum can be used to determine if there has been a change in a router's link state database, and to compare the link-state database of two routers.
What is prvtOspfExternLsaCksumSum?
This is the 32-bit unsigned sum of the LS checksums of all external link-state advertisements in the database, which admins can compare across routers or over time to quickly detect whether the external LSA set has changed without walking the whole database.
