channelPort

Module: PACKETLOGIC-TRAP-MIB

OID (symbolic): PACKETLOGIC-TRAP-MIB::channelPort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.15397.2.8.3.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The port of the channel.

What is channelPort?

This read-only enumerated value indicates whether the PacketLogic channel referenced by a trap is on the external(0) or internal(1) port. An admin uses it to quickly tell whether a reported channel state change concerns the WAN-facing or LAN-facing side of the device. For example, a link-down trap with channelPort set to external(0) tells the admin the WAN-side connection dropped, not an internal LAN port.
