Description:

Push back queue size

What is packetprocessingPushbackQueueSizeVal?

This gauge metric measures the current size of the pushback queue in the packet processing engine, expressed as a 64-bit counter. The pushback queue buffers packets when downstream processing cannot keep up with the input rate, serving as a congestion indicator. Although marked obsolete, network operators historically used this to diagnose packet loss and backpressure conditions in the packet processor.
