This counter reports the current momentary rate of traffic bytes being shunted (redirected or diverted) on external IPv4 addresses by the PacketLogic traffic management system. It measures traffic that has been shaped, redirected, or otherwise handled as a policy exception. Network operators monitor this to track how much non-conforming traffic is being diverted or shunted.
