Reassembled packets

What is ipv4ReassembledMax?

This gauge tracks the maximum number of IPv4 packets that were being reassembled simultaneously on the PacketLogic system during normal operation. IP reassembly occurs when fragmented packets arrive out of order and must be held in memory until all fragments are received before being processed. Operators monitor this to identify fragmentation levels and ensure sufficient buffer resources are available for legitimate reassembly operations.
