What is ipv4EcnEct1Max?
This read-only gauge reports the maximum count of IPv4 packets marked with ECN Capable Transport ECT(1) codepoint. ECT(1) indicates to network devices that the sender supports Explicit Congestion Notification for managing queue overflow without packet loss. Operators monitor this metric to understand how much of their traffic is ECN-capable and to verify that ECN marking is functioning on the network path.
