What is fwMonitorVal?
This counter measures the total number of packets that have been monitored or inspected by the PacketLogic firewall/security engine since the device was powered on. Network operators use this metric to verify that traffic is flowing through the device and being analyzed as expected, providing a sanity check that policy enforcement is active. Stagnant counts might indicate a configuration problem or monitoring bypass.
