ethernetMplsVal
Module: PACKETLOGIC-MIB
OID (symbolic): PACKETLOGIC-MIB::ethernetMplsVal
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.15397.2.1.28.5.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter64
Access: read-only
Description: MPLS over Ethernet frames
What is ethernetMplsVal?
This counter measures the number of frames that carry MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) labels over standard Ethernet links. PacketLogic uses MPLS as an advanced traffic engineering mechanism. Operators monitor this to understand how much MPLS-tunneled traffic transits the network and validate tunnel utilization.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.15397.2.1.28.5.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PACKETLOGIC-MIB::ethernetMplsVal
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.15397.2.1.28.5.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PACKETLOGIC-MIB::ethernetMplsVal.1
