Description: This is the Destination port number for which there is another mirror port.If the ntronMirroringState is Enabled then the mirror port gets routed with all the packets going in and out of Destination port. This arrangement is to put an RMON Probe on mirrored port to Probe the traffic on the Destination port. One of the port is dedicated to this so that for any port as destination port, this dedicated port can be a mirrored port. This object will return a '0' if the MirrorState is not enabled.
What is ntronMirroringDestinationPort?
The port number designated as the mirror destination, which receives a copy of all traffic in and out of the configured destination port when mirroring is enabled; this returns 0 if mirroring is disabled, per the MIB's own description. Admins connect a network analyzer or RMON probe to this port to capture traffic for troubleshooting.
