This value is a secondary IP address associated with a member of the cluster, distinct from that member's primary address. Admins use it to know the backup or alternate address path for reaching a cluster member, useful for redundant management or heartbeat connectivity. For example, a value of 10.0.1.5 might be the backup-network address for a member whose primary address is on a different subnet.
