Module: LM-SENSORS-MIB

OID (symbolic): LM-SENSORS-MIB::lmFanSensorsIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.16.3.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Description: Reference index for each observed device.

What is lmFanSensorsIndex?

This read-only Integer32 (0-65535) is the table index that uniquely identifies each observed fan sensor entry. Admins use it as the row key when walking the fan table so each fan's device name and speed reading can be matched up. For example, index 1 might correspond to the chassis intake fan and index 2 to the CPU fan.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.16.3.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> LM-SENSORS-MIB::lmFanSensorsIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.16.3.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> LM-SENSORS-MIB::lmFanSensorsIndex.1
