ipfParseEntryStatus
Module: IPF-MIB
OID (symbolic): IPF-MIB::ipfParseEntryStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1055.5.6.2.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Indication of whether or not a valid entry.
NOTE: A row cannot be modified. You can create or delete a row, but not modify.
NOTE: Parsing is done when the status changes to valid. The ipfParseEntryError field (see below) would contain any parse errors.
What is ipfParseEntryStatus?
The validation state of a rule sitting in the parse buffer: valid(1), create-request(2), under-creation(3), or invalid(4); rows can only be created or deleted, not modified, and parsing (which populates ipfParseEntryError on failure) happens when the status is moved to valid.
