Module: INTERCARRIER-FR-MIB
OID (symbolic): INTERCARRIER-FR-MIB::friciSigUserIncorrectEvents
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.148.1.9.1.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter32
Access: read-only
Description: The number of frames discarded per FR_ICI transmission path in the ingress direction because of user side status signaling incorrect fields. The specific status signaling incorrect field errors that contributed to the discard of frames are described in Section 5.4.3, R 5-31 of GR-1327-CORE
What is friciSigUserIncorrectEvents?
This Counter32 tallies frames discarded on this FR_ICI transmission path in the ingress direction because the user-side status signaling message had incorrect (as opposed to outright invalid) field values, per GR-1327-CORE section 5.4.3. Admins use this alongside friciSigUserInvalidEvents to distinguish signaling messages that are structurally malformed from ones that parse correctly but carry field values that don't match expected state, both symptoms of user-side signaling problems. For example, a technician troubleshooting inconsistent PVC status reporting from a customer's equipment would check this counter for evidence of incorrect signaling field values.
