hwPPPoAMacMode

Module: HUAWEI-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-VLAN-MIB::hwPPPoAMacMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.6.1.25.1.30

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Indicates the VLAN-based PPPoA single-MAC function. Options: 1. multiMac(1) -indicates that the multi-MAC mode is adopted. 2. singleMac(2) -indicates that the single-MAC mode is adopted. 3. notConfig(3) -indicate by VLAN single switch. This leaf is optional for creating a VLAN service profile. The PPPoA single-MAC function in the global mode can be set in hwIpDslamPPPoAMacMode of HUAWEI-IPDSLAM-PPPOE-MIB. The VLAN-based PPPoA single-MAC function can also be configured in hwIpDslamL2pVlanCtrlPppoaMacMode of hwIpDslamL2pVlanCtrlTable in HUAWEI-IPDSLAM-L2PPORTCONFIG-MIB. The final status of the PPPoA single-MAC function is determined by its global-level switch and VLAN-level switch. The PPPoA single-MAC function of a VLAN is enabled only when the switches at both levels are enabled. If a VLAN service profile is bound to the VLAN, the configuration of the VLAN-based PPPoA single-MAC function in the VLAN service profile takes effect.

What is hwPPPoAMacMode?

Sets whether PPPoA subscribers on VLANs bound to this profile can use multiple MAC addresses or are restricted to one, the PPPoA counterpart of hwPPPoEMacMode.
