What is hwPortTypeOid?
This object holds a port-type identifier defined solely for use by Huawei's Entity-MIB implementation, describing what kind of physical port an entity represents. Management systems use it to classify ports, such as distinguishing an optical port from a copper Ethernet port, within the entity hardware inventory. This value would let an NMS correctly label a port entity as, for example, a GE optical interface versus a console port.
