Description: Indicates the inbound rate limitation of a port. Range: -1, 64-10000000 (which must be an integer multiple of 64) Unit: Kbit/s. when the value is set to -1 and the value of hwLineRateRowStatus is set to destroy(6), it will disable the inbound limitation on a specified port. -1 can be used only in the case of disable the limitation.
What is hwLineRateInboundValue?
This OID sets the inbound rate limit of a port in Kbit/s, from 64 to 10,000,000 in multiples of 64, or -1 to disable it (when paired with hwLineRateRowStatus set to destroy). An admin lowers this to cap how much traffic a port can receive, separate from the outbound limit set by hwLineRateValue.
