hwOverLoadControlThreshold2

Module: HUAWEI-OLC-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-OLC-MIB::hwOverLoadControlThreshold2

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.127.2.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: It indicates the level-2 threshold of the system-level leaky bucket. When the CPU usage exceeds the level-2 threshold, the overload control is implemented according to the minimum traffic. The configured level-2 threshold of the system-level leaky bucket must be higher than the level-1 threshold of the system-level leaky bucket. DEFVAL { 90 }

What is hwOverLoadControlThreshold2?

This value, 71 to 100, sets the level-2 CPU usage threshold of the system-level leaky bucket; once CPU usage exceeds this higher level, overload control drops to minimum traffic throughput, and the description requires this value be set higher than hwOverLoadControlThreshold1. Admins tune it to define the point of most aggressive throttling under severe CPU overload. The default is 90, ten points above the default level-1 threshold of 80, giving a defined escalation path from moderate to aggressive throttling.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.127.2.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-OLC-MIB::hwOverLoadControlThreshold2

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.127.2.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-OLC-MIB::hwOverLoadControlThreshold2.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.127.2.2.1 i <value>
