hwOverLoadControlCosQueueMappingMask

Module: HUAWEI-OLC-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-OLC-MIB::hwOverLoadControlCosQueueMappingMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.127.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: Indicate how the cos maps to the queue ID. Every four bits indicate the queue ID corresponding to one cos value. The range of the queue ID is from 0 to 7.

bit value: bit31 bit0 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 cos value: cos7 cos6 cos5 cos4 cos3 cos2 cos1 cos0 DEFVAL { 1985229328 }

What is hwOverLoadControlCosQueueMappingMask?

This obsolete value, per the source's own bit diagram, packs eight 4-bit fields into a 32-bit mask mapping each CoS value (cos0 through cos7) to a WRR queue ID from 0 to 7. Admins historically set it to control which overload-control queue a given class of service's traffic was assigned to. With the documented default of 1985229328 (0x76543210), each successive cos value mapped to a correspondingly numbered queue, before this object was marked obsolete.
