Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The MAC distribution mode of PPPoA2E.
What is hwIpDslamPPPoAMacMode?
This read-write INTEGER (multi-mac(1)/single-mac(2), default multi-mac) sets the MAC address distribution mode for PPPoA2E conversion. Admins choose multi-mac when each converted session should present a distinct MAC address upstream, or single-mac to consolidate under one. For example, setting this to single-mac(2) has all converted PPPoE sessions from this DSLAM present a single shared MAC address to the upstream BRAS.
