hwpingResultsRttNumDisconnects

Module: HUAWEI-DISMAN-PING-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-DISMAN-PING-MIB::hwpingResultsRttNumDisconnects

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.28.1.3.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge32

Access: read-only

Description: When the pingCtlType is 'icmpecho' , this object represents the number of times that the target or hop along the path to a target became disconnected. For all other values of pingCtlType, this object will remain zero.

For connectionless protocols this has no meaning, and will consequently remain 0. Since this error does not indicate any information about the failure of an PING operation, no response time information for this instance will be recorded in the appropriate objects.

What is hwpingResultsRttNumDisconnects?

This read-only gauge counts how many times the target or an intermediate hop became disconnected during an icmpecho-type ping test; it stays at zero for all other test types and for connectionless protocols. A nonzero value on an icmpecho test flags path instability rather than simple packet loss.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DISMAN-PING-MIB::hwpingResultsRttNumDisconnects

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.28.1.3.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DISMAN-PING-MIB::hwpingResultsRttNumDisconnects.1
