hwBoardModemLearningEnable
Module: HUAWEI-BOARD-SERVPROPERTY-MIB
OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-BOARD-SERVPROPERTY-MIB::hwBoardModemLearningEnable
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.48.4.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: TR068 Modem learning VPI/VCI (ADSL board support) Options: 1. true(1) -indicates TR068 Modem can learn VPI/VCI 2. false(2) -indicates TR068 Modem can not learn VPI/VCI
What is hwBoardModemLearningEnable?
This read-write INTEGER enables or disables TR-068 modem VPI/VCI learning on an ADSL board, with true(1) allowing the connected TR-068 modem to auto-learn its VPI/VCI values and false(2) disabling that learning. Admins toggle it depending on whether subscriber CPE modems are expected to self-configure their ATM path identifiers or use statically provisioned values. For example, setting this to true(1) lets a newly deployed DSL modem automatically discover the correct VPI/VCI without manual configuration on the customer premises.
