What is hpmcNumClusters?
An Integer32 scalar originally intended to report the number of clusters this node belongs to, but the MIB module explicitly marks it as obsolete. Because it's obsolete, an admin should not build monitoring around this OID; the same information is instead derived by counting rows in the hpmcClusterTable. A management tool that still queries hpmcNumClusters directly would get an unsupported or static value, so it should walk hpmcClusterTable to enumerate the node's cluster memberships instead (illustrative).
