Description: Indicates a node in the cluster which plays a `special' role, and may contain additional MIB information not distributed to other nodes in the cluster. A value of ' ' (single blank character) indicates an unknown or nonexistent primary node.
What is hpmcClusterPrimaryNode?
A DisplayString naming the node within the cluster that holds a special coordinating role, or a single blank character if no such node exists or is known. Admins query this to know which node to target for cluster-wide management data that isn't replicated to every member. In an MCSE cluster where hpmcClusterPrimaryNode returns "node2", an admin troubleshooting cluster-wide state would connect to node2 rather than any arbitrary member.
