What is hpEMSPID?
This read-only INTEGER is a trap varbind that, per its source description, carries the process ID of the affected EMS monitor. Admins use this PID to correlate the EMS restart event with system-level logs (like syslog or core dump records) from around the same timestamp for deeper root-cause analysis. For example, matching this PID against a core dump file on the source host would let an admin analyze exactly why that monitor process crashed.
