Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Access: accessible-for-notify

Description: A url-formatted string representing the MIB location at which the event occurred. It can be used to associate a close event with its corresponding open event. This occurs as the seventh trap-specific varbind of an event trap.

What is eventUrl?

This object carries a URL-formatted string identifying the MIB location associated with the Primealert event, which can be used to match a corresponding close-event trap back to the original open-event trap. It lets monitoring software programmatically link the resolution of an issue to the alert that originally reported it. A ticketing system integration would use this URL as a correlation key to automatically close a ticket once the matching close-event trap arrives.
