h3cQinQv2IfTransVlanList

Module: H3C-QINQV2-MIB

OID (symbolic): H3C-QINQV2-MIB::h3cQinQv2IfTransVlanList

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.10.2.137.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Transparent VLANs described as a bitmap. Each octet within this value specifies a set of eight VLANs. The first octet specifies VLANs 1 through 8. The second octet specifies VLANs 9 through 16, and so on. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the highest numbered VLAN, and the least significant bit represents the lowest numbered VLAN.

What is h3cQinQv2IfTransVlanList?

This read-write 512-byte octet-string bitmap identifies which VLANs are configured as transparent on a QinQ port, with each octet representing 8 VLANs (most significant bit is the highest-numbered VLAN in that octet). Admins set specific bits here to exempt certain VLANs from QinQ double-tagging, letting them pass through untouched. For example, setting the bit for VLAN 1 lets management traffic on VLAN 1 traverse the port without being wrapped in an additional service tag.
