h3cMACInformationChangedTrapExt
Module: H3C-MAC-INFORMATION-MIB
OID (symbolic): H3C-MAC-INFORMATION-MIB::h3cMACInformationChangedTrapExt
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.10.2.87.1.4.0.1
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description: When the cached number of MAC address information is reached the value specified by h3cMACInformationCacheLen, trap is generated and is sent to the remote monitoring device. The trap is also generated when the amount of time elapsed since the previous notification is greater than the interval value specified by h3cMACInformationcSendInterval and there is at least one cached MAC address information learnt or removed. The object is valid only when h3cMACInfomationWorkMode is set to trap(1). When the h3cMACInfomationWorkMode is set to syslog(2), No trap will be generated even h3cMACInformationEnabled is set to enabled(1) and the feature is enabled on interface.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' H3C-MAC-INFORMATION-MIB::h3cMACInformationChangedTrapExt snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.10.2.87.1.4.0.1
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:64730->[192.168.30.10]:162]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (39076058) 4 days, 12:32:40.58 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: H3C-MAC-INFORMATION-MIB::h3cMACInformationChangedTrapExt
